vacation_cruisingThe holiday season is almost upon us. And for those planning out those usual Christmas parties at home, it’s time to get out of the boring routine and try out something more engaging. What about the idea of taking a cruise vacation; singing carols on deck, while overlooking the sea. Cruising during the holidays is something more exciting than the typical week-at-sea experience you might find during less festive times of the year. As the Christmas approaches, many cruise companies come up with lucrative offers for families, even allowing children to travel free.

Many cruise lines make sure that you have a great time sailing with them. Christmas cruises are usually decked with beautiful embellishments including sparkling accessories, dazzling light displays and the symbolic Christmas tree, keeping in tune with the spirit of Christmas. Some cruises even organize holiday parties in the ships’ lounges, where you can enjoy specially prepared holiday drinks, elaborate turkey dinners and New Year’s Eve midnight countdowns.

However, there are few important tips that you should bear in mind before planning out a cruise vacation, especially if you are taking your kids along. When planning out a cruise vacation with family, be sure about your destination and cruise line. Depending on where you want to go, you can choose a destination that has something for your kids too. So, what are you waiting for? Take a cruise vacation this season and experience the difference!

You can always snag a good bargain booking at the last-minute, but with many families cutting back on travel, the coming holiday season will be a little different. Wondering where to get you cruise deals? Check out CheapOair’s amazing cruise deals.

“IS TENERIFE ONLY A FISH & SHIPS DESTINATION?“

For the last few years the island of Tenerife have been promoting itself as a new fresh, renovated and upcoming destination. Gone are the days when the island only attracted cheap package tourists looking for cheap 2 star hotels, non stop night clubs, cheap fish n chips. etc.

Compared to any other holiday destination in Spain, Tenerife has gone through more changes and invested more into re vamping itself as a quality and upmarket destination. Infrastructure has been improved, and tourists can now enjoy beautiful avenues decorated with palm trees and flowers, all the way from Los Cristianos through Las Americas and all the way to Costa Adejes, Torviscas and Fanabe areas.

It is specially the south of Tenerife that has undergone this transformation. But also the north of the islandhave seen some exciting new developments, the most famous one is probably the new concert house in Santa Cruz, Auditorium de Tenerife.

Before I finish this little blog, I feel I have to share with you one of the latest attractions here in Tenerife - The Siam Park! The Water Kingdom as they call it is just a fantastic new attraction that has been described as one of the best water parks in the world by the media. Siam Park is owned by the same family who for many years have run the very beautiful Loro Parque in Puerto de La Cruz, visited by millions over the years. Siam Park is a combination of some of the biggest and most exciting water slides and features in the world, but also beautiful tropical gardens surrounding the slides and the relaxing Lazy River. Here you will also find one of the biggest artificial beaches in the world, matched with some of the biggest artificial waves you can find! Entering the park, you are met by a beatiful pool with Sea Lions, then after this you wander into the Floating Village, all themed with Thai dragons and decoration. This is an attraction in it self that will make families travel to Tenerife in the future years to come!

The holiday season is almost upon us. And for those planning out those usual Christmas parties at ho

vacation_cruisingThe holiday season is almost upon us.
